Tadi, sambil2 mengulum2 asam dalam mulut, CL buka Facebook.
Menunggu khabar berita tentang seorang Professor di IIUM@UIAM, Prof Dr. Ghassan Taha Yaseen yang dimasukkan ke Hospital Gleneagles, Khamis lepas.
Dan hari ini (17/3/2013), pulanglah seorang scholar yang hebat kepada Penciptanya. Innalillah.
Menurut kawan CL, yang juga merupakan student kepada Prof, Prof dimasukkan ke hospital due to heart attack.
Prof Dr. Ghassan merupakan lecturer yang berasal dari Iraq, sudah berkhidmat selama 21 tahun di IIUM.
Semestinya, kehilangan beliau amat dirasai oleh seluruh Department of History and Civilization secara amnya dan ahli keluarga beliau secara khususnya.
Walaupun CL bukan student yang major in History, tapi melihat kawan CL menangis diatas riba CL sampai basah kain CL dengan air mata dia, menunjukkan betapa Prof Ghassan merupakan lecturer yang disayangi students.

Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters in islam.
As most of us have heard, our dear Proffesor. Ghassan Taha Yaseen- from the department of History and Civilisation IIUM,
had recently suffered 2 severe heart attacks. He underwent 3 major surgeries and has been in the ICU ever since Monday morning.. Please make dua for him and his whole family as they are physically, emotionally and mentally drained.. May Allah keep them strong and patient. Ameen..
We are currently in need of URGENT donations due to the high cost of the surgeries and Medical charges which has exceeded RM 90,000, while insurance only covers only RM 40,000.
